Position Overview
To help us scale our clinical presence globally, we’re looking for a Clinical Research Scientist to join our mission and contribute to clinical studies with world-renowned hospitals.

⏳ Commitment: 1.0 FTE
📜 Contract: Open-ended (3-month trial period)
What would your day look like?
We move quickly—launching a new clinical study every 2–3 months:
- You would work together with our medical doctors in designing and initiating these trials. After confirming the clinical study protocol, you would lead the study in terms of communicating with the study site and ensuring the study initiation.
- Once study is ongoing you would review clinical data as it is collected, ensuring it meets quality standards.
- You will also be responsible for the documentation of the clinical trial management, ensuring all records are accurate, up to date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- You will be supported by our team of engineers, medical doctors, data scientists and regulatory experts along the way.
- We work with some of the best known hospitals in the world so you will be on the bleeding edge of AI applications in medicine.
- Once data is gathered at the clinical site, you would be tasked with reviewing it and preparing a study report.
- Finally, you would present the findings that contribute to regulatory submissions (such as FDA, CE).
This is a remote-friendly position with flexibility, provided your schedule aligns with Central European Time (CET, 8 AM–8 PM). Occasional site visits may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and leading clinical trials for diagnostic cardiovascular devices/software tools.
- Outreach to clinical partners in organizing and overseeing clinical study.
- Clinical data evaluation and report writing for medical device regulatory purposes.
- Documentation and maintenance of all aspects of clinical trial management, including study plans, protocols, communications, and compliance records.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD degree in a biomedical field.
- 1+ year work experience in industry clinical research (preferably healthcare or medtech startups)
- Experience in designing and conducting clinical studies, specifically
- Defining study cohorts, inclusion and exclusion criteria
- Choice of metrics and study success criteria for diagnostic devices
- Experience in communicating with trial sites and physicians
- Experience in writing clinical study reports and performing literature review
Bonus
- Statistical analysis skills using Python or R
- Track record of scientific publications
- Experience in medical device submissions to regulatory

We’re seeking a driven and strategic Head of Marketing to lead the marketing function at Ligence. You will define and execute our marketing strategy, manage our digital and communication channels, and play a central role in growing our brand and lead generation engine. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of healthcare innovation and AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute the regional marketing strategy (main focus in US and EU) aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Define and manage the positioning, messaging, and brand narrative for the company and its products.
- Oversee the evolution of visual identity and tone of voice as the company grows.
- Demand Generation
- Own and deliver a marketing-generated pipeline target to support sales team objectives.

- Digital Marketing
- Oversee all digital channels, including: SEO strategy and execution, social media management, Email marketing campaigns and automation flows, website management and optimisation

- Lead the creation and coordination of marketing materials
- Track marketing performance through KPIs and analytics; manage budget and ensure strong ROI.
- Market insight. Conduct market research, competitive analysis to inform positioning and product decisions.
- Event Strategy. Lead strategy and execution of participation in industry conferences, webinars, and trade shows.
- Reporting. Implement tools and frameworks for real-time marketing performance tracking, reporting to executive leadership.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2+ years in a senior marketing role,
- Experience in SaaS, MedTech, HealthTech, Life Sciences, or AI-based technologies field.
- Experience in B2B marketing.
- Experience in account-based marketing.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies for SaaS in MedTech.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and solid time management.
- The ability to independently create or edit digital content is an advantage.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain laptops, workstations. Manage global hardware shipment, setup, and collection
- Address and resolve technical issues reported by employees, both remotely and on-site (software, hardware, connectivity, and access problems)
- Manage and administer our Ligence software deployments as well as SaaS tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, JIRA
- Monitor physical hardware, cloud infrastructure, network security, and system logs
- Support system upgrades and improvements, ensuring tools are up-to-date and secure
- Document processes and updates
- Conduct system audits, maintain accurate asset inventories
- Occasionally visit clients (travel expenses covered) or engage remotely to troubleshoot and fix problems.
