It’s not a job interview, neither it’s a coaching session. It’s a technique to prompt a change in patient’s lifestyle that physicians and nurses could/should use it in their cabinets. Much of health care today involves helping patients manage conditions whose outcomes can be greatly influenced by lifestyle or behaviour change. Motivational interview (MI) is a powerful tool to enhance communication with patients and guide them in making choices to improve their health, from weight loss, exercise, and smoking cessation, to medication adherence. Its effectiveness has been proven by numerous research. MI can last from 15 to 160 minutes, depending on the setting.

Ligence receives Certificate for the Ligence Heart AI system

Ligence Heart analysis and reporting system for transthoracic echocardiography has been certified under MDR 2017/745.

The device is regulated as medical device class IIa under the framework of the European Commission.

The Ligence Heart AI system will be now offered to care centres in Europe to aid with the burdens of the echocardiography procedure.

The company expects first sales to happen in Lithuania and the Baltic region, followed by the Netherlands.
